Job Brief

The Manager works in conjunction with the General Manager to ensure that the total operation of the restaurant runs smoothly, including labor, staffing, guest experience, monitoring food costs and waste, and meeting outlined goals. 

Responsibilities

Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Scheduling weekly for entire FOH staff. 
  • Interviewing for all FOH positions (Bartenders, servers, food runners, hosts)
  • Hiring for all FOH positions (Bartenders, servers, food runners, hosts)
  • Employee communication (Making sure communication is clear and entire staff is on the same page)
  • Training agendas and schedules 
  • Assisting in writing SOPs 
  • Assisting GM with orders/inventory when needed 
  • Making sure staff follows through with their day to day duties (This includes checking out with MOD before clocking out after shift)
  • Keep track of daily sales revenue (EOD)
  • Update food menu when necessary changes are made 
  • Producing checks for vendors 

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years’ experience as a Manager 
  • Can work a variable, fifty-hour (50) schedule weekly 
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant operation software, POS)

Dress Code

  • All black, solid. No stripes, polka dots, words, pictures etc.
  • Shoes must be closed toe and have backs on them (they do not have to be black)
  • No tank tops or spaghetti straps of any kind 
  • Shorts, dresses, and skirts must be appropriate length (anyone can wear shorts)
  • No leggings or yoga pants 
  • No sheer clothing 
  • You may wear any company shirts if you have one of those
  • No rips or tears in your clothing
  • Accessories can be personalized (hats, scarves etc.)
  • Any hats are okay but please make sure they are solid black
  • Face masks always. Any color or pattern. The company has face masks available if you 
  • forget yours at home. But please make sure to always have one / keep one in your car.

Work Environment:

  • Operates in a standard restaurant environment
  • Moderate to loud noise 
  • Frequent exposure to variable temperature changes 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to Bend, Squat, Run & Physically React in a Prompt Manner 
  • Ability to Lift 50lbs.
  • Ability to Stand for Very Long Periods
