Truck Staff position

Summary

The Food Truck Staff’s responsibilities include assisting with the daily operation of the mobile food vehicle that prepares and serves food and beverages. 

Responsibilities

The Food Truck staff’s responsibilities include but  are not limited to:

  • Load and unload dishwashing machines
  • Putting up and taking down taco letters
  • Taking orders using square
  • Fulfilling orders i.e. filling and topping tacos
  • Calling out names on orders
  • Frying chips and churros
  • Making shells on flattop
  • Cooking protein on flattop
  • Cooking protein in pots on 4-burner stove
  • Prepare menu board 
  • Setup front of the truck i.e. put out napkins, menu board, truck cards, hand sanitizer 
  • Load truck i.e. dishes, food and road cases
  • Breakdown truck i.e. store away food, do dishes and clean the truck 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one (1) year experience in kitchen or similar role
  • Valid driver license required 
  • Working knowledge of event management 
  • Good interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A knack for problem-solving
  • Customer-service orientation
  • A team player with leadership skills

Work Environment:

  • Operates in an enclosed food truck with limited space 
  • Moderate to loud noise 
  • Frequent exposure to variable temperature changes 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to Bend, Squat, Run & Physically React in a Prompt Manner 
  • Ability to Lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to Stand for Very Long Periods of Time
